The management team is an experienced franchisor and franchisee focused on delivering excellent operations, profitable growth, and building strong community engagement.

Irish Beef currently owns and operates 12 Arby’s restaurants in Tucson, AZ and is committed to re-imaging and building additional restaurants in the market. Irish Beef is dedicated to a culture of fostering growth and development for all team members involved with running a successful business. It’s unique SHARE program, Show How and Reward Excellence, has proven to generate exceptional talent at all levels of the business.

Arby’s History

Arby’s was founded on July 23, 1964, by Forrest and Leroy Raffel in Boardman, Ohio. The brothers believed that there was a great opportunity to open a restaurant based on food other than hamburgers. They wanted to call their new restaurants “Big Tex.,” but the name was already taken. Instead the brothers chose the name “Arby’s” based on the R. and B. initials of Raffel Brothers
